I got the phone call yesterday that my dress came in! [insert squeal]
I thought for sure it would take longer since I had a custom neckline made. That may have added a few bucks more than I would have liked, but it's exactly what I wanted and I'm super excited to see it. This also means that I really need to get moving on finding my shoes. I'm dying to find the perfect shoe, it just hasn't happened yet. So, to Beachwood we go this weekend!
Ahh!
I'm hoping I can make it out tomorrow to check it out before I show anyone. I don't want to have any altered thought on it based on what everyone else thinks of it-because let's face it, everyone's going to tell me it's gorgeous no matter what it looks like, right?
More updates soon!

Guest List.
Who knew finalizing a guest list would be so difficult? Not me, but I think we've finally done it-or so I hope. We've recently been sending out our Save the Dates, and now that that's done, I suppose I can blog about it.
I spent a good two months designing our Save the Dates. I'll admit I got a little head over heels with the idea of doing everything myself, but I've learned my lesson. I went through 3 separate designs for the Save the Date cards, and made little changes to those about 50 different times. I finally settled on the ones we sent out, printed them out at home on paper, and at the photo store to make sure they looked alright printed. I thought they looked great. So I sent them out for printing through a photo company that printed them on pearl card stock paper. The colors printed out a lot darker than I wanted, and they added a border on them because the "image was too close to the edge". Ahhh! I let them sit here in the box for a few weeks before I got over it.
I ordered a set of kraft paper envelopes, and USPS' Garden of Love Forever stamps. I ended up addressing each envelope by hand, which was nice for the first half of them, until I got a hand cramp.
After all was said and done, I don't hate these Save the Dates. They definitely make me realize that I cannot do everything for this wedding myself, and I will not be attempting my own formal invitations.
Hopefully in the next week or so, I will start a few DIY decor ideas working with burlap, paint, tissue paper, and beer bottles-not all for the same craft, but I have high expectations for these ideas! Wish me luck.
