There are a lot of things I'm still very uncertain about when it comes to this wedding. My colors have changed about a million times, and now I've even added a new color! I've been wanting to add a third color to the blue and green mix, I just wasn't sure on what; beige, chocolate, yellow, silver? Burlap! That may not be a "color" exactly, but I'm embracing the fact that I am a rustic bride. I really love burlap. I'm definitely not into the whole "country" scene, but I do love the rustic, outdoorsy feel/look of things. So we're going to label my wedding, officially, as "rustic whimsy". Whimsy because I want to keep it girly and offbeat. So there may not be cowboy boots, horse back riding, or hay, but it will be as close to rustic as I can get while keeping it me. I had been scouring Pinterest for a solid direction to go as far as decor, and I came across a lot of burlap decor. From table cloths, to centerpieces, and bouquet wraps, I will, hopefully, use burlap as my fabric for table settings and accents on me and my bridesmaids. I'd love to keep everything white and burlap, with accents of my blue and green wedding colors. Burlap table runners with Green or blue chargers? Glass hurricanes wrapped in burlap or twine filled with blue or green candles? I think I'm finally on the write track! Here is a little inspiration board I made.
